We finally found a good grilled fish place, and our experience was very good and pleasant. The service was also good. We liked the place and the food so much that we want to go back tomorrow (our last day in Menaggio) to try a meat dish and the mussels dish. They looked delicious. All the staff were amazing, friendly, efficient. We shared the mussels and clams to start with and they were enormous and super juicy and tasty. We followed that by the fritto misto, the sea bream and the pasta with pasta with pistachio and prawns. All were perfectly cooked and generous portions. Finale was tiramisu … Fantastic coupled with delicious traditional Italian meal. Highly recommend! Poor food and poor service. Do not waste your time: Made a reservation two weeks in advance and requested a seat by the water and came in to receive a poor table with no view. Then a table freed up with a and we had asked if we could sit there. We were told yes at first and then they had decided that they were too lazy to change the table setting so they told that table had a reservation. Sat there for 40 more minutes. The entire restaurant remained empty with many of lake side tables open. We ordered caprese, sea bream fish and ravioli. All of which were subpar and frankly below restaurant grade standard. Wonderful Restaurant with a perfect view. I recommend to reservate. The food was ok, just not that special, but the and the atmosphere made the visit a perfect evening. Truly everything was excellent. I've eaten Seafood my entire life, the mixed seafood was absolutely superb. It consisted of a huge octopus tentacle, large Chilean Sea Bass filet, filet of swordfish and Tuna and prawns. Extremely inexpensive with a gorgeous on the water of Lake Como. To finish it off with a super tasty tiramisu. Beautiful and Super nice service, the guy was friendly and gave us good advice on choosing plates and wine.
