After a big hike, stopping by this restaurant, getting the most comforting Italian food and deliciois glass of prosecco. The service was probably the friendliest we got and we spent a month in Italy! In the terrace the view is just amazing, lake Como and on the distance lake Lugano We visited this restaurant because it was the only one in that area working at lunch time. The view is stunning and the location of the restaurant is golden - there are a lot of tourists and resting locals. And maybe because the restaurant is the only one working in that area, they can do whatever they want with the food. Explaining, why I say that: we ordered polenta with mushrooms, polenta with mushrooms and goat cheese, pasta "pizzoccheri", cheese plate, yoghurt, apple pie, pistachios ice cream. And we did enjoy only the ice cream - it was good, all of us liked it. Polenta was too dry and too salty, mushrooms were good. Pasta was too oily, and somehow I found there a dead cauliflower (way overcooked), which tasted disgusting. My favourite pleasure in all the places I go is a cheese plate. Here I couldn't eat even one piece - the cheeses were not a good quality, dry, old, and tasted really bad. I wanted to enjoy bread basket, but the buns I found there were same condition - dry and low quality yeasts bread. Yoghurt was neutral , I don't know if it will save the review. And the apple pie, the second important pleasure of mine, was a dry disappointment. For all of this we payed 95€. The waiters were smiling and kind. The atmosphere generally was good - a lot of people. Next time in this area I will find somewhere else to eat. Afternoon is not possible to eat anything warm, 1h of travel for nothing.
