This is a beautiful gorge right in the mountains. But you need to be fit to do the walk. And the in the gorge is very cold. Otherwise, bring a picnic and enjoy the peace and views. A family friendly nature walk that requires descending in a gorge where the Bussento emerges from a cave. The WWF manages the area and charges reasonable admission tickets. Local WWF staff provides explanation about the cave, the ecosystem and the cultural heritage of this site as the powered a grain mill active until the 1960s. It is also possible to take a dip in the cold and clean of the river. The walk is not very long, about a mile for the trail suggested by the WWF, but has some steep sections that require sneakers or trekking shoes. Very nice if u like the pure nature! Only thing made by humans are the stairs. (made from rocks) A lot of plants and animals to see! Entrance is only 5 € and is definately worth it! Gorgeous place and beautiful hike. Hiking shoes recommended. If you don't have any with you, you can rent them incl. some new socks 👌The kids loved it. Amazing place! You can do the all park in less than 1,5 hours but you will take longer because you will want to stop everywhere to admire the beauty. After the mill go until end of the road and have a dip on a natural swimming pool. The people that work there are 5 🌟. Beautiful place, not many tourists in June. Quite exerting in the sun, do not recommend for kids or dogs in the summer, it is very hot on the way down, many sharp stones. Was glad to leave dog at the hotel. This is a beautiful place to visit! The hike is pleasant and suitable for both young and old. Proper footwear, like hiking shoes or sneakers, is highly recommended. The trail is nicely shaded for about 80% of the journey. At the end, you're rewarded with a refreshing cold plunge in the 12 celsius water! Plan for 1-2 hours for the whole experience, allowing time for photos. The actual hiking portion only takes about 20-30 minutes, and there are convenient points available. Wow!!! Il mondo delle fiabe. Can you believe that I almost saw a fairy??? So beautiful. Be ready to walk! Very nice walk! Great is cold though but very pretty.. also a little nice cave made of huge rocks and the flowing underneath Beautiful place! It takes like 1 hour (with good shoes and condition) to follow the path circuit. Small little bridges near the and an amazing cave, that unfortunately we could no explore further as there are some bats that were in protection, thus closed for the moment for preservation. Nevertheless, it is completely worth the 5e entrance. Great WWF hiking trail leading to very refreshing springs immersed in pristine nature and surrounded by caves. The ancient mill halfway features a natural waterfall too. A very “local” experience, as the site intercepts the fundamental waterway in the area, the Bussento. You go down a mule track made of stone staircases, which makes the way back harder, but there are shaded pit stops equipped with fountains. The reception hosts a little shop where you can buy WWF-themed caps, t-shirts, and local hand-made olive oil soap bars. Definitely worth a visit.
