We spent a long weekend there with the family and dog to meet some old friends. The owners were super lovely and the facilities were really and to a good standard. BBQs are allowed and the whole place has a totally chilled feeling. There is a play area the kids loved with plenty of space to play games. Will be going again next year! Wonderful visit. The grounds, bathrooms, laundry area are clean, well cared for and a pleasure to use. Kerry is charming and always happy to help even novice campers. Will definitely be visiting again and again. The campsite is well looked after and maintained with activities for the kids onsite, toilets along with free nice hot showers, water and other van needs as well. I can't understand anyone giving this place less than 5 stars and would highly recommend. This was my first journey away after purchasing a motorhome so wanted a site not to far from my home and came across this one. What a lovely peaceful site it was good size grassed electric pitch and picnic benches dotted around. The toilets were well maintained as were the showers couldn't fault a thing and the owner was lovely as I asked if it was ok to leave a little later and it wasn't a problem. It ticked all my boxes and would definitely return. A hidden gem! Take no notice of any other review than this one - it's absolutely lovely. The site entrance is secured by an electric gate with code, and there is a little check in office. Kerry could not have done any more for us during our stay. People just like to moan don't they? Perfectly - it's not only the campsite owners that need to keep the place tidy it's also the people staying here like me and you! Everything you could need - don't hesitate to give them a try Sorry I can’t agree with previous reviews. We stayed here for 5 nights (paid up front) and wished we had gone elsewhere. Toilets old and grubby, as are the showers. Bin area completely overflowing with no separation, just take aim with your rubbish and throw it in!! EHU 6 amp so regularly tripping, different tariffs for different people. Our neighbour paid £16 pn, we paid £22!! Needless to say we do not recommend and certainly won’t be going back. Good campsite, good facilities however the ladies toilets could do with a spring clean, showers could do with some 'updating' not very roomy cubicles. Children's playground is well equipped and plenty of the children to do. Very spacious pitches, very friendly owners. Good quality washing up/laundry facilities. Plenty of board games and leaflets of local takeaways and attractions. Site well 'protected' with a key coded entry gate. I am only writing this review based on the support provided by Kerry whilst arranging a surprise birthday party for my mum turning 50! She has been extremely accommodating, patient and understanding of all of my requests and questions. Thank you so much Kerry for caring and making sure we all had a fantastic time, especially after what has been a challenging 18 months for us all! The site was easily accessible, and very spacious.
