Me and my partner visited the restaurant and forgot to bring cash (be aware, you can only pay cash here!). The owner didn’t make a big deal about it and said we could just come back another time. He even offered us a shot after we said we didn’t have any cash! A couple of days later we came back again (we payed for the other day) and the owner was again super friendly! Really nice place to eat, good prices, real German food. Just don’t forget to brighten cash ;) Very honest down to earth kitchen. Delicious and affordable local cuisine. Recommended! We love this place. The atmosphere is what sells it. You might share a long table with other people and strike up a conversation over a beer and home made spätzle. It is a true Odenwald restaurant and I love it. If you are visiting Germany, near Odenwald, test drive it. Highly recommend!!!!! Awesome food, great staff and an amazing quality for money.
