Staff were friendly enough and in the winter there is some sheltered seating outside. Clean toilet is a plus! Good coffe and great gelato! :) Loved the mulberry granita (first time I tried this flavour, so I have nothing to compare it with, but it was delicious!). The place is right at the bottom of the stairs, but has also sitting on the square, from which you can see the dome of the nearby church - pretty nice background to enjoy a cold dessert or a cold drink. Friendly staff. Good place for a break. Nice outdoor seating! Arancina, cappuccino and Santa Agata cakes very good, and very friendly man on the bar! Coffee at its best. Not to mention that, its reasonably priced. I fully agree with Andrew Davidson. Where it is it is refreshing that they are not trying to exploit the visitors to their town and the fantastic steps. The staff in this bar were extremely friendly and gave very good service. The guys I thought were the bosses drove the bar like this.
