Not much left but good views, free to enter and free car park nearby. Coastal path goes right by. Great short uphill from the lower town, about 20 minutes, then take on the views. Coastal carries on this way. Lovely view across the bay, only a short from the carpark. Lovely place. Old fort ruins. Cannons in great condition. Perfect view point. Free small carpark. Nice short with great over the harbour Interesting ruins of an old fort with some walls and cannons remaining. You can either up here from the harbour area, or drive up to the nearby car park. Lovely of Fishguard and Goodwick from up here. Great coastal walks with over to the port to watch the incoming passenger ships but the paths could be better maintained as there was a lot of wet mud around at the time which was very slippery even with proper footwear. The path can be tiresome for the older folk though as it contains steep inclines which had steps in parts but it can still be a challenge. Nice easy from the car park. Interesting information board. Enough still standing to make it worthwhile and lovely views.
