Super fun experience! We took the half day one as it was my first trying canyoning. It exceeded my expeditions! The coach was very attentively and careful while letting everyone have fun. Equipment provided are good quality. Love everything with the team. Strongly recommend! We had an excellent canyoning experience. It was the highlight of our stay. I cannot praise the leader too highly. He was very professional. We were scared stiff by the idea of high jumps but he made it easy and natural. We got a real buzz out of our canyon. We enjoyed half a day of canoying with one of the female instructors. She explained everything very clear and offered alternatives in case you weren’t sure about for example the jump. Really a great for a first time. As the water is quite cold they provide standard everybody with a special suit so you don’t feel the cold too much. We (my husband and I, and our two sons ages 20 and 17) signed up to go Canyoning with Canyon while visiting our family in SW France. We didn't know entirely what to expect but called and asked a few questions about safety etc, and decided to go for it after they reassured us. We got up early and drove 2.5 hours to the starting point, arriving in to "suit up". We can't thank Marine, our Guide, enough. She spoke both in French and also repeated in English for us, how to do each milestone as we traversed down the canyon dressed in full gear (wet suit, wet suit socks, waterproof boots, helmet, and the tie off gear for repelling). We all had some level of fear as we rounded a corner or came upon the next cliff, but she explained carefully how to do it, and one by one we did it, just like that with our cheering each other on! It was so much fun, and did include repelling down 40' waterfall in the end. It's all doable. Take your and don't feel rushed and listen to your guide and work with your teammates as you canyon your way through spectacular Pyrenees. We definitey renting the waterproof boots. This was the second we've been out with Canyon and this visit was even better than the first four years ago! The staff were super friendly, really knowledgeable and took their to make sure that everyone had a good and was safe while they were having it. Our guide, Elsa and photographer, Etienne, couldn't have been nicer (and the fact that there is a dedicated photographer to chronicle your properly is a big plus). We had a really memorable in truly breath-taking surroundings, with a great team and excellent equipment. Elsa was great with my non-French-speaking teenage boys, giving all the safety talks and instructions in English as well as French and took the to make sure they had understood everything. I can definitely Canyon! Had lots of fun canyoning! This included jumps, slides and rappelling. Ayla did a great job guiding the and made me feel safe, while enjoying this experience. Also the fact that I was the only English speaker in the was no problem at all, which is great! Would definitely and repeat myself if come back! We had a really nice canyoning trip with a of 5 friends. The canyon was not too challenging, but was beautiful. We did a level 2 as there was too much water to do the level 3. Still some nice jumps up to 5 meter, some slides and rappels. The trip was well organized, we got good equipment and the guide was very experienced and helpful. A fantastic half day experience! Our guide, Laurent, made sure we were all looked after and felt confident to do all the activities. Our ranged from 10 years, teenage to adult and we all took part in everything, a really wonderful afternoon! I would highly Canyon for there attention to detail, organisation and enthusiastic approach! My only comment is the admin side of it - we booked a full day, well in advance, but the night before got an email showing our “half day” booking, no explanation or apology. We’d been planning to arrive by 9.30 and that was changed to 13.30 - with a big car trip to get there. It turns out they didn’t have the numbers and/or the guide was injured (unclear) - which is fine, these things happen - but a phone call or email to explain would have been appreciated.
