Great spot, Round O is well located, not too far from shops and bars on foot and then the big supermarkets and fast food joints are only 5 minutes in a car. There are plenty of fast food establishments that will deliver to the for you as well, like I am talking right upto the window of your boat, great Chinese there, I think is called Ruby Palace. The ramps (jetty) are excellent and well maintained with everything you would expect to keep your ticking over (or in my case, my dads - until he dies and leaves me it in his will) In Round O itself there is a great here for the kids, assuming you have kids, if you dont I wouldn't recommend going to the park, as that might creep out the people that have kids there (just saying). And if the kids like ducks the place is full of them The last day we were down there was an ice cream van and I think he is pretty much stationary there as he was there all day. The toilets are as you would expect at pubic - but yes all in all really nice, very clean place. Devilish Island has amazing old structures. Well worth the time and money. Absolutely amazing trip to Devenish, so much history to be told by staff, amazing place to visit, would thoroughly recommend for all ages. Lovely coffee shop in car too! Beauty in a good place Barge City. Used be a lovely little place to pull in on a hire boat, if you could get in. Between barges that are abandoned and small owners who over the years were polite and welcoming, but now show a lot of animosity towards people who simply want to stop off with their family and enjoy what there is to offer. Sad really. We used to stay here often on our yearly trip (37 years in a row now). Come the end we would give out leftover shopping and electric cards to the locals but not anymore because unfortunately we won’t be back. Tourism is suffering here and everywhere but sadly nothing is ever done. Every year it gets worse. Disappointed more than anything.
