Josh was incredibly and funny, making the journey both engaging and entertaining. The rest of the crew were also very helpful and pleasant, adding to the welcoming atmosphere on board. It was wonderful to hear the rich history of the area while enjoying the beautiful scenery. We spotted plenty of water birds, including swans and herons, along the way—although the kingfishers managed to stay out of sight this time! Overall, a really enjoyable experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting Enniskillen. There is free parking right by the jetty and a cafe there to for your return coffee catch up (although beverages are served onboard). We booked a on the lough to Devenish Island. A bar on this very comfortable covered boat made the journey all the more enjoyable, as we were caught in a shower of rain on the way back. The itself was fascinating, quiet and interesting. Well worth the visit. The guys on the boat, answered all questions and even brought us to a spot on the river where they knew there were kingfishers, I had never seen one before.
