The bar was very flexible at taking in 35 people (group) in the evening. The aperitivo seemed too small for the amount we payed (20eur) and only water and coke seemed to have been included. So definitely try a la carte menu in order not to be deceived. Position is excellent in the port of Lipari. What made the evening was the live music at the café. A perfect spot for a cold beer, aperitivo, and people watching. Every time I visit Lipari I make sure to grab a drink every afternoon here. Outstandingly magnificent place. Great coffee, very delicious ice creams. The service is professional and very kind. Located right on the harbor with a huge, airy, shaded terrace. Recently, there are few foreign tourists here (I was the exception) and they were very kindly received. I was here last year, I still really liked it. I highly recommend to anyone who arrives at the port, here you can experience the best hospitality. Very friendly service. Aperitivo missing a bit of freshness, but quite divers. Very nice wines! Nice ambience and excellent service, they make you feel very welcome. Additionally, there are musicians playing in a little scenario (I believe it is not everyday but occasionally) which makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Absolutely recommended! Shame, had a few drinks on the terrace with DJ but we got charged almost double for the second round. One could say “tourist tax”. It wasn’t about the cost but the principle… shame one would treat you differently if not local/italian… Great aperitivo spot on the harbour front.
