The Deli has a great range of products plus a take away etc then there is the cafe next door who has a lovely range of cakes etc ir sandwiches to go with your or tea. They have about 12 tables indoors plus 4 large pub style tables outside. The free car park is not very big but is plenty big enough for the amount of customers it can cater for. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful warm hospitality at this local café in the heart of Meigle with a separate shop next door. Set next to an idyllic steam, with outdoor seating and farmhouse style indoor tables and decent sized car park. Deli style menu with artisan pizzas, baked potatoes, quiches, sandwiches and soups. Huge plethora of freshly baked scones, cakes and pastries. Super friendly helpful staff. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Don't leave without a smore! There was a short delay for food, but we were advised of this when we arrived. Food was really good, service was great too. It was quite busy so we left quickly to free up the table but the atmosphere was pretty good. The shop was really good with lots of interesting produce. Much of it locally produced. We were here Sept 2024 and I completely forgot to post. We LOVE this place! Can't recall the exact names of the items, but we had the loaded potatoe and ham Sandwich. Everything was delicious. Tea was perfect as well. Plus, the store next door carries Coconut milk and Coconut cream with no added guar gum. This was the first time we've visited the flour shop and it won't be the last! Both the breakfast and lunch menus are extensive with specials that change daily. Everything is cooked fresh and the was excellent! There are also a large selection of festive tray bakes to choose from as well as hot chocolate and speciality to choose from. We can also highly recommend the gift shop next door that offer up local treats and a cold counter with fresh quiche and sausage rolls. Stopped by Flour for lunch today. The service was quick and friendly. One of us ordered a pizza, which looked great but lacked a bit of flavor. The other tried the coronation chicken toastie, but there was no choice of bread, and it felt more like a combination of roast chicken with coronation sauce rather than a true coronation chicken filling. Unfortunately, it wasn’t our favorite, as we prefer the chicken to be fully coated in the sauce. On the bright side, the soup was tasty, and the deli section was well-stocked and enjoyable. Overall, it was an okay lunch spot, but not one we’d hurry back to. The deli remains a highlight. I flew all the way from Seattle, Washington to find the best cafe and deli in Scotland! The BLT on a bagel was the answer to my dreams. Great food. Friendly service. Amazing choices. I came to Kettins to find my grandfather's birthplace-and I did!!
