It is popular and we went there for an afternoon drink. Service is fast and efficient, and we enjoyed our rest here We've tried some of the beaches in Mondello. There are lots that offer sunbeds, but just a few that also have service and even less with food. The choice is not what you might expect in real clubs, most is just some salads, sandwiches and pizza. At L'Ombelico the beds are far apart, it is not too busy and service is okish. €40 for two beds with a chair and sun screen including two drinks is not too bad. On the other side of the antique building, space is much smaller and you are constantly harassed by sellers. At some point we counted six in a one minute interval (!), so avoid this stretch if you are seeking peace and quiet. L'Ombelico is really the best choice in Mondello, even when it's not perfect. Great club with amazing views and good cocktails for 8 euros. They have nice tables on the side so you can fully chill there. I didn’t tried any food but will be back for sure for more nice experience Only place to book the sunbed on the Mondello beach, the prices are 30-40 € for 2 sunbeds and umbrella. The distribution begins at 9, so I recommend to come earlier and take place in a line. Expensive drinks, nasty food, slow service but still an enjoyable day. €30 for a sunbed in the blue section. Wouldn’t recommend coming here but it seems like the best of a bad bunch for sunbed lounging. QR code is their menu Nice spot at Mondello' s beach. We had lunch at the sound of the waves. Staff was gentile and prices convenient. Visited in June 2025. Unfortunately, this place did not live up to expectations. It was very dirty and littered with trash. Although cleanup crews collect garbage every morning, the is still covered with cigarette butts, and plastic waste floats in the sea. The water itself is clear and beautiful—you can take some nice photos and even spot a few fish. However, the beach, streets, and harbor area are so full of garbage that it made the overall experience quite unpleasant. If i can put 0 star, I would have. Moscow mule was awful, i dont recommend it. Especially for 10€ of cocktail, it shouldn't taste this bad. I see some mixes reviews, but I came back couple of times. Great spot, nice service, piadine were great, they give you snacks as well with a beer, good prices :) Beautiful beach, friendly staff. Price is €40 for umbrella, two sunbeds and a chair (and even two drink tickets included) in the luxury area that has more space between the umbrellas. The price is €30 on the standard area. It is a popular place and has a long line to get an umbrella in a weekend in July. Less crowded in weekdays. The line was well organized with numbered tickets. More expensive for sun loungers than other lidos along the beach. You don’t know what’s available until you’ve paid and are led out, so I ended up with a deckchair right at the back farthest away from the beach. Also on top of overpaying for the deckchair the bar prices are high. An Aperol and ‘pizza’ was €15 Nice but after trying to move my sun longer to be in the sun, was told “not possible” and that we couldn’t eat our own food. Sun loungers are so much more expensive than everywhere else and felt like as tourists, the staff were a bit rude to us. There’s a children’s play area which understandably gets quite loud, so if that’s not for you, there’s other spots that might be better suited Can’t pay by card for single drinks, toilet system doesn’t work, overpriced drinks and then you pay for the toilet as well! Bad organisation, too many staff, very inefficient. Head further down the to somewhere more real. This place only gets one star because it’s not possible to give zero. The staff is unbelievably rude, as if they intentionally hate tourists. They barely speak any English — if at all — and insist on speaking their own language to us, even though it’s obvious we don’t understand each other. Because of this, they got our order wrong, and we couldn’t even clarify it because they didn’t understand a word we said. 20 euros per person for a sunbed on their filthy beach? We paid 40 euros for two dirty loungers. There are supposedly waiters on the to serve guests, but they completely ignored us — they only bother to serve people from their own nationality. Not once did anyone come over to ask if we wanted anything. Honestly, we wouldn’t have ordered after this treatment anyway. This has been the worst experience we’ve had so far. The whole place is a scam, a rip-off on every level. Half of our vacation is still ahead of us, but I’m never setting foot here again. FRAUD-SCAN for tourists!!!Don´t get anywhere nearby! I´ve paid € 5,00 (five) for a tent & lounger for 1 pax since my wife & kid doesn´t want chair or lounger BUT we were not allowed to use our own towel! So I went back to cashier to buy other 2 combos of tent & lounger, so they charge me € 10,00 (ten) but did not give me the second tent!! Doesn´t matter that the gentile lady explained in Italian to the cashier they do not care about foreigners Very poor customer service, and food. salmon salad was very poor, very bitter taste of salad and salmon was very chewy in very large pieces rather then small bites. And given a plastic knife it was impossible to cut, Also we asked for 7up and they had run out, and offered my son a lemon. When recieving it and trying it, it was bitter lemon, which is way to bitter for children. They have forgotten part of the order but asking us to pay it right away even before starting the meal. And after bringing the rest they insisted that we paid right away, immidiately after recieving the food. When trying to decline by saying we would rather pay after we have finished, which is more common custom, the employee asked another staff and a manager and came back, while we had just started eating they, again insisted we paid it right away. Not coming here or recommending it at all.
