Just had coffee, but the food looked good. Friendly helpful service, no problem that I asked a few questions about seasonal drinks. Restaurant was clean and bright, not too busy and it was easy to chat with not too much background noise. Quite busy but tables were free and and were cleared quickly. Staff were very friendly. Ordered a take away cappuccino with salted caramel shot, when it arrived, the coffee and chocolate powder was down the outer cup so much it transferred to and stained my top. They also forgot my shot as it was just a standard cappuccino when drunk. Finally the bins were overflowing and I almost tripped over an A board lying on the ground outside the door! Very unprofessional! recently visited Costa Coffee and was served by a gentleman named Douglas, and I must say the experience was outstanding. Douglas greeted me with a warm smile the moment I walked in, instantly making me feel welcome. His professionalism and friendly demeanour set the tone for a delightful visit. He was attentive without being intrusive, taking the time to ensure I had everything I needed and even recommending a seasonal drink that turned out to be absolutely delicious. My coffee was prepared perfectly - smooth, rich, and served at just the right temperature. The service was prompt and efficient, yet never rushed, allowing me to fully enjoy my time there. It's rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in their work, and Douglas certainly does. His excellent customer service truly enhanced my visit, and I would highly recommend this Costa Coffee branch to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service.
