It's suppose to be foreigner friendly but the phrases to the puzzle related to were all italian on the wall. They needed an English version underneath. That wasn't the issue though... We were stupidly stuck on the first lock for 30minutes and asked for help a lot but they don't give you a hint. The staff are not watching. There should be at least a 10minute interval check on groups so that this could be avoided. Unsure what they were doing the whole time... We did not complete the and it was also rated 3 out of 5 difficulty. We paid full price too - to just struggle on one lock until we were hit with a wall of 10 italian phrases. We were in museum, very challengin room, but with the hints from the staff we managed to escape. I suggest more than two players to do it. Not for the English speakers. Despite being told that no writing in Italian will be fundamental to solve puzzles, that was not the case. They did not have the same instructions translated into English, which is bizarre as they have an English website and make it look like language barrier would not be an issue. We played two rooms. In one they forgot to give us one of the keys so we lost a lot of and the magnets did not work properly. The other group had a similar experience. We visited eXcape Palermo with my family while on holiday. The staff member assisting us spoke excellent English, which made the experience really easy. We chose the Victorian room—it was challenging, but we managed to and had a great time! Having played over 30 rooms, I'm sorry to say this has been one of the worst experiences I have had. The game masters seemed to be in a rush to get us out quickly and gave us hints for clues we had just discovered, giving us no to figure out the puzzles ourselves, despite having almost 30 mins left on the clock (finished with 25 mins left). We played Prigione in English and unfortunately did not with just 2 players on our team. Some of the puzzles were a little too convoluted in my opinion and there was maybe 1 translation issue, but overall it was a great experience. Our game masters were very friendly and gave perfect hints so that it would not give it away, but it helped immensely with solving the puzzle. I would definitely return to try out the other games, thank you! I liked the a lot it’s a big recommendation. Manuel introduced us really well and we had a lot of fun.
