Saying that, the showers are scaldingly hot, if they reduce the temperature 8 degrees, they could help the planet and pull less money from the council! I had previously left a 5 star review. However, currently pursuing unresolved health and safety, policy and fairness issues with regulators. Will update this review when the complaint process is complete. Currently I am not using these services as not resolved with manager and Trustees. We were greated with a beautiful smile by a blond lady. That was really friendly and helpful:) The facilities were really good and clean. The toilets and the showers were really over the top and roomy. An all round good leisure centre, Gym is well equipped for types of gym goer and there's lots of other facilities like the pool badminton etc etc.. staff are friendly and helpful Pool is fine; shower needs upgrade but is good enough for now. Main problem for my wife, who is very short sighted and cannot wear glasses while swimming, is that she cannot read the time on the digital clock. Therefore I strongly recommend that you install a large analogue clock (like they have in Crewkerne swimming pool), please, so as not to discriminate again people with poorer eyesight. I would like to acknowledge one of your members of staff who was working on the sunday 24th August evening. His name was Dan, he was such a helpful and kind young man. We had to stop to charge the van and get some fresh air after a long journey in our camper van with 3 kids and a puppy and imagine our disappointment as we didn’t realise 1. The car park had a hight barrier. 2, there was a no dog sign everywhere! He came straight over and opened up the barrier so we could change the van up and then he noticed the puppy and he was kind enough to offered his advice on a really lovely walk and it made our stop off such a nice experience! On returning from our walk he then was waiting to open the barrier again to let us out again.
