Great location with super views. We stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant on both evenings. Nice meals with a great ambiance in the restaurant and bar areas. The pub is run by two families and the service is excellent! Great selection of local and nit so local beers. We stayed and also had dinner and breakfast. What a find. The room was beautifully done, clean, spacious and a huge bed. The food was incredible with a great evening menu to pick from and a great buzzing atmosphere. Breakfast was also 10/10. This pub has everything going for it. Excellent location (superb views from the large beer garden), great good and friendly staff. Reasonably priced. However, as a resident, charging for breakfast with each item individually priced as though dining in a restaurant (even beverages, which aren't really optional for that meal) is a poor policy. I would rather have paid more for a package that included breakfast as is more normal, but that wasn't an option. Had drinks in the garden with the amazing view. Could see for miles. Peaceful and spacious garden. Definitely recommend. Sunday roast was fantastic. Everything was cooked to perfection. Services was spot on. Our room was beautiful, looked reasonably newly refurbished and there was definitely no expense spared. We will definitely stay here and eat here again. A perfect spot for lunch or watching the sun go down with a pint in hand. We've been here several times now and absolutely adore the place. The service is great, the food excellent, the variety on the menu and range of beers is spot on too. Would thoroughly recommend Wynyard's Gap - especially to those visiting the area for the first time, you'll be blown away by the views from the beer garden too. Always book as this pub is very popular. The service is amazing as is the food. If I was picky we would like to sit by the fire in the bar to have a pre dinner drink whilst ordering our food but for some reason the line to have you at your table to order. We have just stayed down the lane from this beautiful pub. We had a roast dinner on the Sunday which was by far the best roast dinner we have had. Wonderful food and the service was outstanding. We then returned on the Wednesday for my birthday meal and it did not disappoint again. The main menu and specials are delicious I am pretty sure between our group we tried all the options and all were lovely. They even did a birthday dessert without being asked they must of heard us talking about it. Attention to details and service as well as stunning food. 100% recommend. The view of the paddocks from the beer garden is absolutely beautiful. I ordered the cheeseburger and honestly, it was the best burger I've ever had. The sauce had a delicious curry flavour.
