Thoroughly enjoyed our golf society day here. We played our first "Major" of the year. The bacon sandwich was fantastic. The resident pro offered some advice about playing the course due to dry conditions. The course is in very good with a lot of blind tee shots. The course is long but the dry conditions helped the ball run but the stiff breeze was a challenge. The greens were hard to hit and keep the ball on the putting surface. Would definitely return at some point to see if I can play it better. Highly recommend Played in the Snr Open, 32years since last played here. The course was in good and encourages you to engage your driver. Staff and members all helped to make this a most enjoyable day. Excellent golfing experience - on & off the course. Friendly club, worth a visit, one of the best in the North. food Played in a four ball on monday got dog's abuse for not letting a three ball through until the thirteenth and told not to come back, our four ball finished in three hours and forty minutes, when we approached our tee shots on the eighteenth they were still on the green,gained half a hole on us in five hole's, won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, total disgrace these member's need talking to and chased A most memorable visit, the Golf Course is in immaculate condition, Mark and Dave in the Pro shop are so welcoming friendly and knowledgeable, the facilities in the club house are everything you could ask for with again friendly people offering service Course was in magnificent order even after a deluge of rain the day before when most of the local courses were closed but Bedlington showed no effect the day after. I was really impressed straight away with the course condition, practice facilities and club house. All the staff from the pro shop to the clubhouse. Staff, starters and other helpers, were really friendly, helpful and informative. All 4 of us enjoyed the day from start to finish and will definitely be back to play here again soon and would definitely recommend this course. Played in the seniors open 5th June. We were a group of 16 all praised the of the course which was exceptional. The greens were perfection. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A day. Everyone from the club was so warm and friendly and they even managed to arrange for the weather to be good for us too. Thank you to all involved and looking forward to next year. We took our ladies group for a Christmas meal. The staff were so kind and couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent and plentiful.
