A very busy place always, but it is also always a pleasure to visit as the excellent choices if food are top class and very fresh - so along with the friendly welcome and good service and a canny pot if tea for 3 - it keeps us coming back for more. Sit in and enjoy the fab food or take it away. Choice us yours. Dont miss making it a place to call. Great farm shop, clothes shop, cook shop + other outlets to keep you interested ( some a little pricey - but you might fall upon a great bargain). Enjoy - we do. Lovely cakes, was busy but got seated pretty quick. Good coffee, tables cleaned quickly First visit here, and it won't be my last. However I need to curb eating those beautiful cakes. OMG amazing. I also had jacket potato with prawn rose marie. Delicious 😋 😋. Sorry too greedy for photos. Also, I have to note, it was easy to talk until the staff scraped the seats into place rather than use 2 hands and lift them 🤷♀️ I've been here quite a few times and it's always been fabulous! Lovely little spot for some lunch or a quick coffee. Forgot to take any photos apart from of my caramel shortbread but trust me when I say its lovely and cosy inside Service was great, very friendly and helpful staff They even offer gluten free options which was great for my partner as they got to enjoy a cheese scone with me! Would recommend to anyone passing by! Lovely little shop serving decent range of food and drinks. Soup and a scone was delicious but cake a little dry however nice to see they have Barista Oatly milk on offer. Definitely worth a visit This cafe is a very popular one in the Blagdon estate shopping area called milkhope, it’s a lovely cafe with plenty space, on busy days (pretty much every day) you may have to wait for a table the line does go down fast, & it is worth waiting for. The food is homemade and perfect for lunch. They also sell some locally made produce. I recommend their chocolate cake. But everything they do here is lovely. The staff are extremely friendly. Cosy shop, definitely not a café food menu is egg based mere entirely but I love an egg so really cannot complain. can be often quite cold as its a stone building, can be a good dessert selection on a frequent occasion. Overpriced and Soggy Quiche. Ordered 2 cheese, chive, and onion quiches that had been microwaved, very wet, and flavourless. On the menu, a plain jacket potato was £3.50 but if you want cheese, it would be £8.90, how can you justify £5.40 for a bit of cheese?! Countless visits over the years, so here's my review. Nice array of scones and cakes, plus a good light breakfast and lunch menu (think bacon sandwiches, poached eggs, pie and salad, jacket potatoes). Typically my mam and I go for tea/coffee and scones - scones are some of the best around (today it was white chocolate and blueberry for me, cheese for my mam). Tea always nice, my mam particularly likes the coffee. Staff always pleasant and quick; the place itself is clean and with a laid back atmosphere. It can get busy so be prepared the the occasional five minute wait. Highly recommended. Nice place for light lunches and hot drinks. Can get a bit noisy with all the chatter. Open 7 as a week Fantastic little find on our way up North. Stopped for brunch. Gorgeous smoked salmon (a generous portion too) with avocado and poached eggs. Couple of other little shops within the vicinity to check out. A real gem. Ordered a cappuccino and some food. Cappuccino had no foam was as runny as water. Server spilled it all over the saucer and tray while bringing it over, didn't apologise/bring anything to clean it up, and just left the tray at the table. Didn't bring over any cutlery with the food either. Shame that the service was like this because the place itself was nice.
