For me best place in Slovenia, where you can rest&dive&swimm or rent a board and spent some time. Close to LJU. You have two hotels and camp if you want to spend night. You can be on grass or stone. Fiesa is a nice beach, easy to get into the water and lots of tree shade. Especially during the week you can often find shade. There's also a scuba diving center you can rent from and walk into the water. Food is moderately priced as you can imagine, but it's actually pretty good. Shallow bay area , kids friendly.
