I've learnt now tho that it's essential to book to be in the warmth of the front bar. That aside the service was good and the food was superb, a proper steak house. I'll be booking next time and staying for a few pints. Unexpected find, absolute gem of a pub, family trip back from IKEA, wanted somewhere different to eat , we weren't disappointed, it's easy to drive past, it's a bit run down looking from outside, but lovely atmosphere inside, the service and food are top drawer, food is absolutely delicious, service was excellent and fast, but bring cash, they don't use debit facilities,I had to drive down the road to the circle K filling station for an ATM, I had gammon, chips with all the trimmings, mushroom for starter, food is unreal, price very reasonable, if you went to the omniplex you would be served the usual processed meal and it would be a lot more expensive, this was home cooked and excellent portion size, myself and wife and child will definitely be back, I wouldn't eat in the omniplex knowing this gem is not even two miles down the Moira road.
