The Old Post Office Tea Room Troutbeck

One of the Best Places To Visits in Troutbeck Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A small cafe in the old post office. Very friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. All the classic things you would expect on the menu (breakfasts, cakes, cream teas…). Some outdoor seating too if the weather allows. Lovely tea room with the friendliest staff (who are dog lovers too). Tea brewed in a pot served in china cups - and the sausage rolls & cheese scones were delicious too. We've already visited twice this holiday - it really is that good! Wow what a find.We couldn't find our property in the village so stopped for directions.Just had to stop and have coffee and a cakes. The cakes were great as was the coffee. So good we went three times during our stay. Unique ambience. Staff are so friendly and helpful. DO GO and treat yourself you won't be disappointed. Loved it here whilst on some bike rides in the area. I had sausage roll, carrot cake and pot of tea for one, came to £10.95, really pleased and will return when in the area again 👍 Fantastic little cafe! Good coffee and super friendly. Menu looked great but we were too early for lunch. Well worth a stop! Ice cream too! Oh my gosh. I would move closer just to go here more often. The staff and owners were extremely friendly. The atmosphere was fantastic, so homely and relaxed. The coffee was divine! And we had a nice warm sausage roll before hitting the trails again. Handy things for hikers as well (plasters, chewy sweets, paracetamol etc. ) A true gem. Came across this delightful place on our circular hike from Ambleside. The staff here were outstanding and we felt very welcomed. The yummy scones were homemade and served with fresh clotted cream. Great prices given the portion size and quality. Worth a visit! Hands down the best bacon ciabatta in the Lakes ( and I’ve tried a few 😂). Lovely people too and in a great spot on the Wansfell/Jenkin Crag loop. One of my favourite places to stop.
