There's a disabled car and all just about all the paths are wheelchair friendly One of the best places for a with your dog or your family great place to be. Great for wildlife and wildflowers, secluded paradise for nature lovers Great place for walking dog. Nice paths with lots to see. Worth a visit. One of the very few places around Edinburgh with a decent path for a long scenic walk. By the end of May/ beginning of June, the rhododendrons will all be in full bloom- that will be a lovely time to revisit this wonderful park! Beautiful country with numerous paths. Rhododendrons are in full bloom at present. Also note the wild garlic growing among the trees. Excellent for dog walkers. Play area and barbecue pits available beside the Ranger's centre. Very peaceful! Great for walking the dog. A little hidden gem of a place in West Lothian. Lovely woodland walks and a play next to a great little visitors centre. Plenty of space for picnics and space to run around! The visitors centre also has a beautiful little garden perfect for sensory exploring with little ones! Lovely today. A.hot cup of soup at the visitor centre then back to the car park. Lovely park, with plenty of space to your dog. Will definitely go back. The only sad thing is that still some people throw their rubbish in the park; that's quite disrespectful Lovely country with the river Almond meandering through. Lots of walks and play for the kids. No café but lots of picnic benches for bring your own lunches/snacks, and BBQ pitches that can be hired by large groups. Great place for scenic river walks, and family picnics! Good parking, Toilets and info/shop for snacks. I always return to this with pleasure, for the beautiful walks and for the fauna and flora in it.
