This place is a little bit depressing: dark and dusty, the windows could use some washing. The staff was kind, though. Reply to Cafe Frei: thank you for the response, it is good news indeed. :) This used to be a cosy, atmospheric 'go to' coffee shop. Now it's garishly Bright, with fussy decor and not enough staff 🤔 Pros: * one of the only places in town to offer non-dairy milk (even though there is no oat milk, which would not be so hard to import from Austria) * dog-friendly * open on a Sunday * spacious Cons: * the menu is actually half magazine, half menu, with the products scattered through different parts of the brochure, which makes it harder to choose from the already overabundant selection * their main selling point of "coffees from all around the world" is slightly misleading, as whatever you order is actually filtered through the Hungarian concept of an Italian/Austrian style long coffee. We ordered various coffees including "Jamaican", "American" and "Italian", and they all were variations on the same base, with no tangible taste difference in the beans or otherwise Conclusion: slightly better than what's on offer in most places, but nowhere near the intended concept What a sweet café! I love the decorations, the desserts and especielly the cute kids' corner. I really rate this place, they have a play area for little kids so it’s perfect for families. I wish other places were so attentive as well, it’s a lovely though. Prices are affordable so all are welcome. It is a good coffee bar. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try out coffee's from all around the world. The staff is really nice and efficient. Not the most aesthetic location (imagine it opening directly on the main square), but the most beautiful Cafe Frei I have ever been to. Def better than the ones in Budapest! One of the calmest, cool relaxing places of the city. Really good option for a date with a friend enjoying great coffees at reasonable prices. Good place to have a cup! Én a kiszolgálást emelném ki. Nem szoktam Frei kávézóba járni ezért minden új volt de a kiszolgáló hölgy türelmes volt és kedves. A kávé is finom volt. Abszolút elégedett voltam. I like this place, because I think it’s the only one with children’s playground. So while baby is playing, mum can enjoy her HOT coffee (mums will understand me) Especially I like that blond waitress, unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she is really nice and sweet. BUT: 1. It’s really dirty everywhere. Seems like they never wash floors, clean dust etc. 2. If you have toys for children - please at least some time check the quality of toys. Some of them already broken, you can find some small details, like cars wheel - which is a real choking hazard 3. Please, PLEASE, buy cover for croissants at the entrance. Sometimes all doors are opened and of course all dust coming on them Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
