We visited this place as part of a boat trip (visiting Isola Santa Maria, Isola Budelli, Isola Spargi and Isola Maddalena). I normally always check Google review, Trip Advisor or the Fork, but not this time. That was a big mistake. We ordered hamburger (always safe), the sandwich was okay, but no idea what they did with the burger. Definitely not on a grill or baked, no sauce..... The waitresses had fun with eachother and did not pay any attention to the customers. We had to go inside to pay the bill, since the waitress did not came to our table asking if everything was okay, if we wanted another drink, if we wanted to pay, etc.... The slightly older blond woman behind the bar, was the only one who was service oriented. The location and establishment were okay. Run away!! ПОЛНОЕ ГОВНО!!SHITTY PLACE!! LA ME.DE !! I regret I didn’t just stand up and walked away..budget /cheapest products. NOT ITALIAN CUISINE! And we came with family on a private boat..😩Perhaps sauces carbonara/arrabbiata/bolognese are from jars, not cooked. Surly the old pasta was warmed up in microwave with the cheese added on. My salad was poor with black olives and no taste tomatoes.Grilled vegetables for 14eur the same as I bought in the market for 4 eur once. Cheap place, no pleasure. Pictures on the menu don’t correspond at all with what you get. Disgusting meal. Frozen out of the microwave. And expensive. That’s a fraud! Don’t go there!! Worst food we’ve ever eaten. Bottle of wine cost about 20/30€. It was already opened and tasted like carton wine. I had the worst experience at Bar Madrau. The tasted like it came straight out of a freezer box, and unbelievably, some parts were still cold. If you're looking for authentic Italian pizza, steer clear of this place. It's a disgrace to Italy's renowned tradition. Unfortunately, we did not read reviews. Agree staff was rude, rude rude. I ordered Margherita pizza. It was a frozen burnt out of box cheese pizza. The waitress asked what do you expect at a bar. Took 2 bites and refused to pay for it. And they say Americans are rude. Avoid this place like the plague Horrible cheap food.0,01star,,🫣 Served with yesterday's'carbonara' pasta. Maybe it was leftovers from someone before...Salad was budget black olives , budget tomatoes, some cuts of iceberg.Beautiful pictures on the menu don't correspond to what you get. Prices exaggerated for what we got,😤plus to that the locals were sitting with cup of coffee/wine for 1 hr smoking all the time . The servant was nice but looking sad. Worst food I’ve eaten since being in Italy. Food was all microwaved, lasagne was rock hard on the bottom. The salmon pasta had no salmon in it. Spoke to waiter, couldn’t care less. Find a better/nicer place cause you will be disappointed 👍🏼 ps I never write reviews Amazing Tagliatelle. Best in all of Sardinia. Great cocktail, and waitress was very friendly. We do recommend this place.
