Not so interesting harbour for staying with a yacht. It is in the city centre, but also right next to the ferry terminal so there is a lot of traffic. They put us on the side near the church and 1 m on the road, it was horrible, music till 2 am, people shouting right outside, cars honking, have not slept a wink so do not come here ! Go to a better marina … to counter the town is cute Very nice place, specially for those who love walking through typical sicilian streets full of coloris. Coloris OF beauty. Lovely surroundings with beautiful shops with a view! This is a beautiful place and when we came at the beginning of the season everyone in the marina was super helpful. In the end we paid for seven weeks here. The archipelago is wonderful and mostly quiet and you can swim and snorkel without the worry of small boats rushing around. There are a couple of flies in the ointment..... Firstly it's really difficult to dispose of rubbish and recycling, all the bins around the islands are padlocked. Secondly, when we first got here there was a dock outside of Marina di Gavetta where you could go alongside for two hours for free and fill up with water, dump your rubbish and recycling and pick up a few supplies. Three weeks into our stay they changed that and you had to pay €12, okay I'm not going to complain about that. The final straw came today. We arrived at the dock at 0745 hrs to fill with water and leave for a long passage, all was quiet except for a guy running out to say we couldn't come until after 11. I explained we just wanted water and would be there for 10-15 minutes, he still refused to let us stay. I don't mind rules, but when they keep changing it's VERY ANNOYING!!!! An amazing place with mostly amazing people very friendly. Price is length by width multiply 0.73euros price varies depending on on/off season. The only negative was the disgusting nature in which one of the marina guys felice treated us, felt like a common criminal appalling behaviour bangs on your boat at 8am demanding to fotocopy the receipt that we had paid the mooring. Stayed 3 nights and that behaviour was just unacceptable. In saying so the other marina guys were very helpful polite and friendly.
