It is also flat so if you have difficulties walking, it is truly a must stop. You can have a picnic. Fishing with a permit is allowed (6 trouts and 2 pikes). It is of course better to go during weekdays and off vacation time or early so it won’t be crowded and you’ll be able to park easily. The reviews I read have me the impression that this was a very special place and I'm so glad we visited. The lake is not large and it did get quite busy but it is such a beautiful and peaceful place, it has a very special atmosphere. We loved being able to relax with our dog and swim there.
