We took the dog we are looking after on a lead. Kids were swimming in the lake. There are benches and picnic sites. A lovely family spot! Good place to visit on a hotish day lots of water based activities including pedalos, water inflatable assault course, paddle boards and swimming lake. There are places to eat and get light refreshments. It is well organised and the views of the surrounding mountains are good. Pleasant spot for a picnic and afternoon stroll. Lovely place to have a walk, has free toilets which were open on Sunday (not sure when they close). It also has some play park and an outdoor gym. Lots of activities for the family in the summer period ,inflatable water park,swimming and beach ,boats ,bouncy castle and the play park ,there is BBQ and picnic facilities,or if you prefer there is also a restaurant which is ok for drinks and ice creams .
