A pretty tree lined path runs along the top of the to the bandstand and to a small children's play area. There's plenty of shade and benches, although a couple of the beaches are a little rickety. In one corner there are public toilets, but whilst free, they're not very clean. Just serviceable. A rare and pleasant place in Sarlat, good views, shady trees. Calm, beautiful park. Picnic tables and play area for kids too.... There is a nice walk around and through this which was near enough to where we stayed inside the old town so that we could use it for our daily exercise during the lock-down in spring 2020. A lovely place to come and sit and get away from the bustling town. It is peaceful with lots of benches, big shady trees and paths which are easy to navigate. The isn't large and on a hillside so quite steep to walk around and to the top if you have mobility issues. There are public toilets but they are not the best, so I would suggest using those on the carpark below. Nice quiet area to sit and have lunch. Nice place, non so beautiful Nice & clean park.
