Great terme to come for a swim and a massage. We enjoyed a day here away from the beaches in calabria. The masseuse was very professional and found the sore spots. The lifeguard at the pool was friendly and helpful. Come early, spend half a day here. I am sure you will not regret it. You can easily spend 2-3 days here and visit both this place and the public terme. So far pain therapy at main building is working.. This photo is from 200 feet away of the natural spring waterfall. Thermal pool is next to it. A lovely little place to have a warm bath in winter, there is even a little cabin to get changed, but wearing flip flops is recommended as it is not cleaned. The pond and water are very clean though. This is a lovely spot to visit near lamezia and has a natural sulphur stream with a public area where you can take a dip in the hot sulfurous water bubbling through which is supposed to be good for a lot of ailments, hrs free though a gratuity can be left. Up above it on the other side of the road is the rather posh caronte spa offering spa treatments and medical treatments all based on the natural spring. Not many places to eat around at midday when we went but we found a great little bar on the main SP105 further south which made up great hot paninis! It's Small but worth a visit. Remove all your silver jewelry as it will turn black. Beautiful place and free entrance. But smells a little strange. A must. Sat in the warm water during a rain shower....magical Sure! Wonderful Experience! I had a fantastic time during my visit. I used the pool, which was clean and relaxing, and also enjoyed a 25-minute massage — it was just what I needed! All the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the overall service was excellent. Just a tip: arrive a bit early as there’s some paperwork to fill out on arrival The place is a nice, although there is an excessive amount of alge in the pool which makes it a slipping hazard. The bathroom was clean but one hair dryer wasn't working. The pool needs attention but relaxing nonetheless. Shame that a place like that could have been more curated!
