Beautiful snack bar with the loveliest owner and staff. Excellent coffee, brioche, and salati. Wonderful quick service, delicious ice cream, great food (especially fond of the Calzone and Cornetto with marmelade or cream) and coffee to die for (Latte Macchiatto was our favourite). Not just tourists like us love it here but also locals...always a very good sign. English, no English, doesn't matter, you will always feel very welcome here. Good luck to the lovely owners! We were regulars during our stay in Tusa :) Sometimes it’s the unplanned meals you have that turn out to be the best. We enjoyed a delicious plate of vegetable dishes, arancini and cake. All fresh and delicious. Family run and friendly. Highly recommended. Terrific ice cream and traditional Sicilian “granita”. Always worth a stop for breakfast and lunch. This was the best gelato and that we tasted in Sicily (and we tasted A LOT). Lunch options (pizza, pasta, salads) also looked delicious but we didn't try these. I always ask to try a little spoon full of the when I go to a gelateria in Sicily. So I asked the lady (over 50) at the counter to try two of the flavors. Asking for the first try she already looked a bit misunderstanding. When I asked for the second she was rolling her eyes and while she was scooping the second spoon for me and having her back towards me she was mumbling something in Italian which really created a bad vibe. I honestly didn’t like the two flavors and because of the bad vibe I anyways felt like leaving already. So I thanked her for giving me a chance to try and wished her a good day and left. The look on her face was telling more than a thousand words. She couldn’t believe that a customer wants to try and then don’t even buy anything. Lesson learned how to NOT treat a customer ever.
