Wir haben am Pfingstmontag eine Fahrradtour zum Restaurant Gasthaus Schnaitl in Wang gemacht. Bei schönstem Wetter konnten wir einen Platz für zwei auf der Terrasse ergattern. Neben der Terrasse gibt es im Gartenbereich einige Biertischgarnituren zum sitzen. Der Garten ist groß und es gibt auch ein paar Spielgeräte (Schaukel, Rutsche, Klettergerüst) für Kinder. Der Biergarten ist ruhig am Ortsrand gelegen. Das Essen ist gut und vielfältig. Neben einer wechselnden Wochenkarte gibt es auch vegetarische und vegane Gerichte. Wir hatten Rindersteak medium mit Pfefferrahmsoße und Kroketten und den Hirschkalbsbraten mit Spätzle. Beides war gut! Zum trinken gab es naturtrübes Helles vom lokalen Kämper Bräu. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Very nice place for family visits. Nice yard and equipment for children entertainment. However, service was very slow even though the restaurant was not full. At least 3 waiters were serving people on the terrace with no one even had a look at the tables in the garden which were all desperstely waited to be served. The waiter finally came after 30 minutes (our fault that we decided to wait for that long). Food was ok, but obviously not very generous when it comes to meat. If it's a dish which combines meat with spetzle or with the other ingredients you will get only a few tiny slices of meet. Finally, when we wanted to pay, no one asked how we want to pay as it was expected to pay in cash. When I asked to pay with card I got a very unfriendly grimace by the waitress who then had to return to change the bill. We waited for another 10-15 min. If the service was just a bit better and smoother, it would be a 5 star experiance. It really spoiled our Sunday family lunch time. The food was mediocre, the service was a joke, slow disrespectful, portions are very big but lack of taste, in the end I didn't have an enjoyable time it felt just horrible to eat there. Beim Cordon bleu war das Fleisch durchwachsen, was absolut unaktzepttabel ist, und auch die anderen Essen konnten nicht überzeugen. Um 22.02 Uhr bekam mein Enkel kein Kindereis mehr, da die Küche um 22 Uhr schließt....nicht gastfreundlich!! Dafür wurden wir gleich abkassiert, da die Bedienung vor 0.00 Uhr zu Hause sein wollte. Das Servicepersonal war ansonsten freundlich, das Ambiente ok, das Essen verbesserungsbedürftig. Wir kommen leider nicht mehr! Wir haben gestern einen 50. Geburtstag gefeiert und einen schönen Abend mit Freunden in der Kegelbahn verbracht. Vielen Dank noch einmal an das Team für den super Service, die ständig Treppe rauf und runter für unser Wohl gesorgt haben. Das Essen war perfekt und reichlich.
