Very nice and impressive garden. The exhibition in the itself is not much to see at the moment as they are renovating the castle. No tour in English unfortunately. Absolutely gorgeous in the middle of nowhere! It has an endless park you can spend pretty much the whole day walking around. The itself was marvellous but sadly due to reconstruction we could only access the half the second floor. Ask for the guided tour! It's worth every penny! Even if you don't speak German you get to access certain areas of the park you wouldn't otherwise Gorgeous and gigantic plus beautiful garden. I enjoyed my time strolling here, discovering the and getting out of Berlin for a weekend. I’ll love to return to try some cafes and probably spend a night in the city. It’s a really beautiful castle. Beautiful palace, interesting exhibition and good cafe inside. I would recommend the audio guide. Unfortunately our experience got ruined by the people that stole one of our umbrellas - so just make sure you take them with you if they don’t fit into the lockers. Beautiful place to visit, especially in spring or during the summer periode. This place is famous for it's amazing palace garden and sculptures made of papermarche!!!! Love it. The palace is very nice. The garden is beautiful. The resturant - you cab sit indoor or outdoor. The food is nice, the service was'nt good!. Perfect place to spend your retirement. Thee neighborhood are pretty and quiet and clean and very organised. The schloss garden is huge, just like the one in the period dramas. I really like the atmosphere. Unfortunately there is no warning anywhere including the website that the main attraction (Golden Hall) is closed for renovation. If you’re already in Ludwigsburg then it’s not an issue as the rest is worth the €6.50 entry ticket but I’m from Australia & such a warning would have been helpful because I would have gone somewhere else.instead of catching the train here. The outside of the palace and the surrounding houses/park are stunning, but the inside leaves some to the imagination. There are lots of paintings that are worthy seeing, but little furnished rooms or other personal items. Sadly, the most imposing room was closed for construction, so we couldn't visit it.
