Tree lined parkland course just outside Shrewsbury with some great holes and stunning views of the Shropshire Hills. Greens were superb yesterday, as was the condition of course. One minus was the bunkers - compacted sand. Recommended. Nice course. Friendly staff. Good menu. Reasonably priced. Great food. Good days the coarse flatters the big hitter we had breakfast which was excellent start to a good days Fabulously warm welcome from everyone at the club, particularly the Pro, Glyn and the Men's Captain. They literally could not do enough for us to make our experience special. The course, although wet, was eminently playable and thoroughly enjoyable - no temporary greens here! The finishing holes are truly spectacular and we will be back to play in the summer when the surrounding scenery hopefully won't be obscured by low clouds.
