Ten minutes later we were acknowledged and told that the kitchen was closed... despite seeing tables served after our arrival. We had an excellent meal next door at La Gourmandise. Fantastic hotel and spa in beautiful French village Extremely friendly staff, clean room, cosy terrace, nice intimate park, a heated pool. Perfect hotel for families and pet lovers. The restaurant serves good food. The hotel is isolated, there is not much around but city center walkable distance. The city of fontenay though is a bit depressing Delicious dinner, very enjoyable. Excellent service The man in reception extremely rude. Food good, waiters pleasant.
