Great little find. Decorated beautifully for christmas. Friendly staff. We had tea. Love this little gem. Best place locally for sure. I had mushroom and Stilton soup, which was delicious. The scone and cheesecake was absolutely superb, too. Good choice of coffees and soft drinks. Lovely Lovely Lovely A cute and cosy venue, perfect for an intimate celebration, we had the tea which was great and the Sunday roasts looked and sneaked great too! Edit: we returned on Sunday for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed! We started off with spicy parsnip soup, which had a kick! Then I had the lamb and my partner had the beef and we were both very happy with our choices. Absolutely and the sticky toffee pudding at the end was delicious! Highly recommended. I brought my family here for the harry potter tea. We absolutely loved it!! I have ND children and let the know in advance and they were so accommodating and so lovely. I honestly was amazed how the ladies working there were. Nothing was too much. The food was 😘👌 too. We had 1 children's HP tea and 3 adult HP teas. We also ordered off the children's menu. We had enough to take home so we were happy with that too. It was actually a very magical tea! We will definitely be coming back. ♥️ From booking on the phone, right up to paying, the at Food By Sean @ N0600 was personable, professional and very friendly. We went for the Tim Burton-themed tea as my pre-birthday treat. Everything was with a variety of flavours. Highlights? 🥪 The cheese and tomato chutney sandwich was delicious! 🥧 Mrs Lovetts meat pie was perfect! 🍒 The Dark Shadows forest tart had a great balance of sweet and tangy, and the sponge was sublime! Can't believe we paid £55 for this tiny amount of tasteless food no drinks included we all still hungry! Also they could of made alot more effort with the table & decor for the so called themed lunch. The young waitress had no manners. First time visiting, passed by many times but so glad I popped in! are extremely friendly and the food was extremely good. The inside of the building is really unique, just kept admiring! Lovely and cozy with a hearty vegetarian breakfast option! Tasty coffee too and attentive service. Will be back! This place is outstanding! Communication via their Facebook page was quick (there is an auto response. However, they replied to my message within 30 mins). When you walk in, the atmosphere instantly relaxes you! The decor is qwerky, and welcoming. It's like nowhere you've been before, but it feels homely at the same time. The were extremely lovely and welcoming, and even though they came over to check on us, it wasn't too much (if that makes sense). The presentation of the tea was absolutely awesome! And the quality was phenomenal!! The flavours, the textures, and the portion sizes were absolutely spot on!! We can't wait to return to try other options!! The honey and almond scone was beautiful. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. We will most definitely call again soon. I was very disappointed with my visit to No 600 today. I have been a fan of food by Sean since the beginning when they started deliveries through lockdown. I have also visited other restaurants that they have/had but never been to No 600. I was really looking forward to it. The food was mediocre and not what was advertised on the tea menu. Plain ham sandwiches, plain tuna sandwiches, cheese and pickle and egg. The sweet selection was nothing like as advertised either. A scone with jam and cream, a meringue with mango, shortbread biscuits and a very hard choux pastry. The scotch eggs which are usually were pink and raw with a sloppy undercooked meat texture. Not very inspiring in comparison to the food I would normally have received from this company. But above that, the a lot to be desired. We waited over 45 minutes for our tea to arrive. As the food was coming out, a member of the party asked for more tea. She was told in a very abrupt manner that she needs to get the food out first and you only get one tea with the tea. This isn’t the usual way an tea is but fair enough. However, myself and a few other members of the party had not even been offered a drink to start with. After waiting so long, people were thirsty and probably wouldn’t have minded paying. We never did receive our drink that is included in the £21.50pp price. We were then charged £15 per child’s tea which on the clearly stated it was £5 with a full paying adult. We were also told this when paying. This a member of the party having to pay the remaining balance which is incredibly unfair. We were told that a receipt couldn’t be printed to find where the discrepancy was as we were all paying individually. As far as we were aware, we had all paid what we owed. One member was also undercharged, which has them feeling really embarrassed. I heard what she told the server she had and the server calculated wrong and missed out a child’s meal. I dare not complain about anything, as the way we were spoken to us feeling on edge and it just wasn’t worth the confrontation. It was only one member of that was rude and unwelcoming. The others were very nice. But after today’s visit, I wouldn’t recommend. Food and is what eating out is all about and this visit was far from what it should have been. This place is a little gem! Right in the heart of clydach! The food is the best we have had in a very long time! It was simply outstanding! 👌 first class in fact! ❤ The shef Chris was truly everything cooked to perfection and of excellent quality! The little waitress charli couldn't do enough for us she was very friendly and attentive! All in all we most definitely will be returning this venue. Thank you for a memorable experience! Table was only set for two people despite the booking being for three. The additional cutlery, plates and napkins never arrived so we made do with what we had. Took 30 minutes for anyone to take our drinks order and the food wasn't served until 45 minutes after we arrived. The sandwiches were also disappointing, as you could barely see the filling. All of this i could have forgiven if it wasn't for the fact that we were told we had to leave after 90 minutes. The delays in meant that we were unable to finish our meal before we felt like we had no choice but to leave. This tea room looked as we walked in, but unfortunately, there were no tables available. It's a good idea to pre book as the waitress advised that they are 'always' busy. Maybe next time!
