People were buying sandwiches next door and sitting here, only buying drinks! The food was not the best there was fish and chips but it was all in thick uncooked batter well there was more batter than fish disappointed The busiest cafe in town for good reason. They went back and forth like iron but they kept missing to spot our table, waited too long for them to clean up after starter, another long wait to clean up after main course. Bad experience where we were definitely 2nd class customers. Ordered the faux filet steak same as others in the cafe but we had to try sawing the meat with blunt knives (Unlike the locals), ask twice for condiments. Poor food, we had better (of everything) from a truck the previous day. Each of the four dishes we ordered was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I really like the creative menu. So petty and mean! My husband forgot his wedding ring there, but we noticed as we were already too far away (guided trip). Our guide called, they confirmed they had the ring, but they couldn't be bothered to send it to us to Germany (we would have paid for everything, of course). He went back a month later and had to call the police to get the ring back, even after showing a letter from us with permission to pick it up and accurate description of the ring. What were they thinking?! The tea was good, I guess. 1 hr to wait for fish and cheeps for the kids and guess what ? my salad didn’t arrive even after 1 hr !!! When its arrive its so basic and not tasty…the sauces the forgotten as well as the water for kids which is in the kids menu … I think the worst experience in 3 years leaving in France The food was abysmal. The pasta with the pork inedible. The steak and I use the term loosely was at best below average and the Roquefort sauce watery and tasteless. If there was a good point the wine was nice and the waitress doing her best.
