After I finished my ski on Petit Train yesterday, I noticed that I had lost the tip on my ski pole. I went into the shop to see if they could fix it for me. The gentlemen there were fabulous! They hunted for a while to find a basket that would fit, and they came up with a used one that worked perfectly. The kindest staff ever! Expectation vs reality clash. Rented a here. It was a below average experience. I tried rentals in lots of places and can compare. The price was high, so expectation was to get a nice MTB for ride. Turned out to be a very old, heavily beaten up and not well maintained thing. Shop staff, while being nice to interact with, didn’t made even a slightest effort to clean the bike. It was covered with many days old mud and oil gunk. Very disappointing. It really felt that this place has very little care for anything but money (at least in case of rentals). If you find yourself in the area with no other options - go for it, but keep expectations down. They have saved my butt so many times, easily one of the best shops in the country! Great friendly bilingual service and good equipment. I have reserved/rented a TREK hybrid a number of times and they've been so good, I've put down a deposit to buy a used one at the end of the season! No extra charge for a helmet. Located right on the P'tit Train du Nord trail so you can pick up your and be on the trail in seconds! Great experience! Excellent customer service. We are so glad to have espresso sports to rely upon for our bikes, repairs, maintenance, and rental when our friends come to visit. Super helpful staff. Cycling by with a loose kickstand I took the in, and they very kindly and promptly adjusted the screws with just the right tools. Everyone was very friendly. Would highly recommend. My son (5) had an issue with his brakes. They immediately took his and fixed it in 15 minutes. The charges were very reasonable. They are the best and the gear (clothing and bikes - for purchase or rental) are very good quality and value. Espresso Sports saved me at the Canadian Cross-Country Ski Marathon this last weekend! Started my second section on the first day and 100 m. in I broke my pole! I turned back to the check-point hoping against hope that I could borrow a piece of tape to tide me over until the end (17 km on hilly terrain, I needed both poles!). They did one better: they found me a spare pole which they let me borrow, at no cost!, for the rest of the first day and the second day as well. Cannot thank them enough, I may have had to quit without them. They were incredibly nice and professional and were there all weekend as volunteers, you can tell they really care for their clients and their sports. Highly recommend.
