Many shops and cafes for proper rest and refueling. Beautiful bike trail! Parts in the north need pavement fixed. Stone dust sections are well-maintained. Some areas are recently paved and in great shape. Lots of facilities along the trail. Be sure to use Google translate if you don't know French, signs aren't bi-lingual. Skiers gliding past, a small creek nearby, and just enough terrain variation to keep things interesting without being overwhelming for a beginner. Everything felt accessible. There was parking close by, gear rentals, and even instructors for those who wanted a bit more guidance. The environment was welcoming. Moderately busy, but never crowded. Watching people zoom down what looked like the end of the ski course was especially fun (and motivating!). It was scenic, well-maintained, and had that quiet, tucked-away charm that makes a place feel special. That one afternoon was enough to spark a whole new love for winter activity💜.
