P'tit Train du Nord

Saint-Jérôme, United Kingdom Cycling park

One of the Best Places To Visits in Prévost Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A trail system that’s like no other! Unbelievably well maintained, summer and winter. I do a lot of cycling and many 80-120km rides, the trail is the best to be on. Many shops and cafes for proper rest and refueling. Beautiful bike trail! Parts in the north need pavement fixed. Stone dust sections are well-maintained. Some areas are recently paved and in great shape. Lots of facilities along the trail. Be sure to use Google translate if you don't know French, signs aren't bi-lingual. P'tit Train du Nord (Le P'tit Train du Nord - Gare de Prévost - Accueil, 1272 Rue de la Trav., Prévost, QC J0R 1T0) is a place that charms with its beauty and tranquility in any season! ✨ Last summer, my beloved and I took a long walk here and were simply delighted with the picturesque landscapes. 🌳🌲 The path goes through green meadows, dense forests, along winding rivers... 🏞️ This is an ideal place for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy unity with nature. 😌 And yesterday we decided to go for a ski trip here. ⛷️ And again, P'tit Train du Nord did not disappoint! ❄️ Perfectly prepared track, fresh air, snow-covered trees - all this creates a unique atmosphere of a winter fairy tale. ✨ P'tit Train du Nord is a great place for active recreation and outdoor walks at any time of the year. 👍 Highly recommend! #PtitTrainduNord #Prévost #Quebec #Canada #walk #bike #ski #nature #beauty #relax #recommend Beautiful scenery! Some areas under repair (because of mother nature and erosion). Crushed gravel over dirt roads very wide bicycle path. Rode 70 km of the 200 km and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back! Because of my visit, I found myself drawn into the world of winter sports!Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and the quiet satisfaction of moving through a snowy landscape.I had no idea how much I’d enjoy being outside in the snow until we spent a day here! 😊The trails were peaceful but full of life. Skiers gliding past, a small creek nearby, and just enough terrain variation to keep things interesting without being overwhelming for a beginner. Everything felt accessible. There was parking close by, gear rentals, and even instructors for those who wanted a bit more guidance. The environment was welcoming. Moderately busy, but never crowded. Watching people zoom down what looked like the end of the ski course was especially fun (and motivating!). It was scenic, well-maintained, and had that quiet, tucked-away charm that makes a place feel special. That one afternoon was enough to spark a whole new love for winter activity💜. I’ll definitely be back. Nice place for cross-country skiing. Free of charge, but need to come earlier to get a parking spot. Excellent and well-maintained bike path that follows an old rail right-of-way along a river in a scenic mountain valley with beautiful lakes along the way. Frequent rest and water stops along the way, and each year more and more of the path is paved. Unfortunately increasing numbers of older people riding very aggressively on e-bikes with fat tires that pick up lots of dust.
