I stayed in the L’Orion And had a great time. Even though it was winter I was warm all night. When you turn the lights out, it’s a gorgeous view. My accommodation felt private and spacious. The individual hot tubs were also fantastic. It was nice having a space we could just relax in. While K was there I booked it again for another time because it felt so special. Nathan and Rajesh were helpful, responsive and welcoming. I do think think including a sled for each accommodation would be nice so you don’t have to return the sled until you leave would make for a smoother experience. And perhaps limiting the number of emails and texts prior to our visit would mean that all the information would be in one place would be more efficient. But I also appreciate the effort that went into to making sure we were informed and prepared. Thanks again for the great experience! Can’t wait to see you again. We had a perfect in the Orion bubble. We got there a day before a snow storm which was amazing to look at from the inside of the bubble. There are little trails in the wood to take a walk and explore. I really recommand this place and the hosts are very kind. I’d like to try the Hobbit cabin for a future stay. Pros: beautiful warm fall weekend, we stayed in the tippi which was nice and secluded in our own wooded patch Cons: -The trail was very difficult to roll the chariot - very steep in some places and very rocky -We passed by employees on a side by side/golf cart and they just watched us struggle, could have offered to bring us up or our things -No running water -3 jugs of water provided which I would not use to drink out of. Really not much if you have to watch dishes and shower. -They said there was a BBQ but it was this tiny 1.5 ft long baby stove which was SO dirty and gross. -The hot tub was not hot enough, we had to get out early because we were getting cold. We even tried boiling water to add in. The water was also not filled so we were not fully covered. -Asking us to carry down our garbage and recycling is a bit much when we have to carry all our things on a chariot back and forth through the woods -Asking us to sweep and vacuum is a bit much -Have to purchase wood as an extra -Check in at 3, checkout at 11 is kind of short when staying 1 night, especially when they expect you to clean the place yourself, not like there’s a lot for them to do! I wouldn’t go back here unfortunately, the concept is great but not well executed. Definitely not glamping. Stayed 1 night with my furry baby! Had really great time. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The only note is that the bedroom does get incredibly hot during the day, so be prepared for that. Out favorite part was how quiet, and private it felt despite being close to the parking lot, and still being very close to town. It was truly perfect mix of convenient resources and nature.
