Rawdon, United Kingdom Spa

One of the Most Revieweds in Rawdon Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. The spa is in a unique location with views, they don't have large hot like the Strom in St-Hilaire, nor do they have a section where you can whisper, they enforce, by their foot soldiers the no taking rule very seriously, so like if you're going with a friend might as well just leave them at home and go alone because it's pretty much how it is going to be here, it should be displayed on their site in big letters for solos only, yes I understand need to relax and have quiet but most come in pairs and want to occasionally say something to each other and not be reprimanded, and want to take photos, no I don't want a photo of you or your friend I want to take a photo of the view and of myself so having a no phone rule and being so strict about it is stupid, why would I want pictures of strangers, no one does, we just want pics of the view, if you are looking for a chill and awsome place go to Strom in St - Hilaire, they have a huge hot pool with "Whisper" so you can freely chat all you want, and Bota Bota, they have a large outdoor swim area for talking, and indoor where it's quiet so you have the best of both worlds, which is what this place should offer, and also the 15$ bathrobe rental is bull***, just include it in your price (always), walking around in their house robes looks ridiculous and sloppy. I'm gonna spend my money somewhere where I'm not being watched like a hawk. The view is and the staff is super kind. The spa is VERY CLEAN both outside and inside. The bistro lunches are generous portions and delicious. The staff truly ensure the spa by asking to stay quiet and refrain from using phones (invasion of privacy for non-consenting people). The only negative, really, is the fact that there are not enough baths and saunas and vapor rooms. It's too bad because I'm sure it could be a great attraction but it's a little small. We also got a parting gift (chocolates). FYI, if you pay for half a day, you are paying for 5 hours. Bathrobe not included (possible to rent for $15)., I will certainly be back! Gorgeous and clean facilities in the middle of nature! The smoothies were excellent and made me crave for more. I was shocked to learn that they just celebrated their 17th anniversary in February 2024... Unbelievably modern and well maintained. I cannot comprehend how immaculately clean the lockers are at all times. I honestly felt like I was dirtying the floor with the few strands of hair that were falling as I was blowdrying them. There isn't much variety in terms of thermal baths and sauna options so I can imagine the place being packed during weekends. Ideally come on a less busy day and you'll be fine. We celebrated our anniversary at this spa, and it was an incredible experience. The premises are beautifully maintained and spotless—much cleaner and more intimate than some of the larger spas. The peaceful atmosphere is enhanced by the staff’s reinforcement of whispering, which truly allows you to escape and decompress. The stunning scenery adds to the relaxation, and they do a great job managing capacity so it never feels overcrowded. Highly recommend! We already can’t wait to go back. Seriously we humans don’t understand the meaning of doing a spa day. This spa is my favourite Nordic spa in Canada and trust me when I write this cause I have travelled all around Canada visiting them, why is my fav? Location , location, location! The installations are modern and pretty. The only problem: US, humans. So here a little reminder of what to do inside a Nordic spa: 1) don’t use your cell phone at all, leave it at the locker 2) keep silence shhhhh. Going with your partner? Whisper, touch, look each other…practice sensuality. Go with friends, go to the restaurant and talk :) 3) don’t make noises, don’t bring aluminum water bottles that when they fall on the floor make noises… there is really looking for silence and relaxation, practice empathy! Why I don’t give this spot 5 stars? Because I had a terrible service this time !! I wasn’t lucky at all with the service at the reception, at the restaurant and with the IT systems! One of my favorite places. It’s not huge but just big enough to not feel crowded. Staff is always very friendly. They have a wood fired sauna that is usually between 100-105c and is amazing. The steam room is also one of them best. We’ve visited most of the Nordic in and around Montreal and this continues to be our favorite. We went to La Source for the first time this past week and we had such a relaxing day at the spa! We appreciated that they enforced a no talking / phone policy - it helped us to really try and disconnect for the day. The facilities are well maintained and very clean. The way the spa is built into the mountain feels like you’re truly in nature and was a very zen spa experience. Compared to Spa Findlandais, it is not a large spa but there was plenty of room in each bath/sauna when we were there (this could have also been the fact that we went mid-week). The food was very good too, and the cocktail menu featuring Quebec-based spirits has some neat options. My husband and I ordered 2 sandwiches to share and a cocktail each. I personally did not enjoy my Amari fizz but my husband enjoyed his Caesar. The Highlights for me were the fire pits, dark room and steam room. One cool feature that I also appreciated was that they have both sparkling and regular water on tap. The only con of the day was my - I had requested medium/ firm strength on my problem areas but the masseuse only used light pressure throughout the entire hour massage. All in all, we can’t wait to go back to La Source for another relaxing spa day! location and very kind staff. Very important to be quiet though since no talking is allowed, even whispering. I loved that it was in nature and it was so stunning with the snow in the winter time! However, only come here if you want a meditative and quiet experience. Disappointing – Stick to the Spa! The spa itself is with a great ambiance, but the service is a complete disaster. If you’re coming here, do yourself a favor and skip the entirely—it’s not worth the frustration. We booked a for the first time here, and not only was it one of the worst massages we’ve ever had, but the administrative process afterward was a nightmare. The therapist, I believe her name was Michelle, didn’t even provide the medical receipt for insurance claims. We had to wait until 10 PM at the front desk, speaking with management, and still left empty-handed. To make matters worse, the itself was beyond disappointing. Instead of an actual therapeutic massage, it felt more like random light touching with no technique or pressure. If you’re looking for actual relief or relaxation, this is NOT the place. A word to the owner: The spa is a gem, but low-quality therapists are dragging it down. Proper vetting is crucial—guests shouldn’t have to deal with untrained or unprofessional therapists who taint an otherwise great experience. Get rid of the ones who don’t meet the standards, or your reputation will suffer. Until the services are fixed, I cannot recommend this place for anything beyond the spa facilities. Un endroit magnifique et certainement l'un des meilleurs spa au Québec. 437$ avec taxes pour 2 massages (60mins) et accés au bain ... c'est ridicule. Le prix gâche tout. Amazing Spa. Absolutely scenery. All of the lttle streams and waterfalls, rock faces surrounding the hot tub. Very professional and friendly staff. We loved the food and the smoothies were exceptionally great. The changerooms were spacious and comfortable. It was definitely one of the best in Quebec and I've been to quite a few! J'adores cet endroit. Beau, calme, propre et massages au top. 🙏 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
