Rooms are gorgeous, spotless with luxury sheets and towels. Beds very comfortable. Great shower, a highlight being on Camino! We arrived in time for lunch and the food was amazing. Definitely try the goat cheese salad. Naturally had to have dinner which was also great. The cheesecake is another ‘do not miss’…so creamy! I’m celiac and so was the owner so I knew I was safe with the food. The location is a little outside of Dumbria which has its pros and cons. Worked well for us, we would come back. Highly recommend!!! A charming cottage tucked away in the countryside, just five minutes off the Camino — clearly signposted, so it’s easy to find. The hosts were warm and welcoming despite the language barrier. Rooms were cosy, quiet, and ideal for a restful stop. The covered glass terrace is a standout feature — perfect for listening to the rain after a long day’s walk. Food is a bit pricey, but it's the only option nearby and home-cooked. Before we left, one of the hosts handed us a slice of lemon cake for the road — a thoughtful touch. Would be lovely to return in summer The best Hostel on Galicia. Love their cordiality, the place is so cozy. Rooms were clean and comfy!!! Their food amazing. I really recommend this beautiful place. 5+ stars for Casa Pichona!! Paid 80 Euro a night with a salad and basic breakfast spent 40 Euro for two people for one evening and morning. Owners speak limited English-making it hard if you don’t know much Spanish.
