Food was lovely, we ordered four starters, one side and one main, all to arrive at same time, fish was lovely, chicken with honey and soy and sesame seeds was delicious. First here and what can I say just wow, staff are so polite and lovely and the food was top notch, could barely move after 😍 Daughter booked for family of 6 for 3.30 pm Easter Sunday. Four of us arrived early and were shown to a table which was laid out with 3 menus on top.we shared the menus and had decided on our choice when the other two of our party arrived. At this point a waitress arrived and said there was a slight change to the menus and she took the three menus away. A few minutes later she returned with four menus which had just one change of food but an average of £1-£2 increase in price of all the item on the menu. We didn't complain but will never be visiting this establisent again Arrived half an hour earlier than the booked in the women gave us a booth but said we still had to wait for the half hour to pass before our order would be taken. Upon looking around. There was quite a lot of tables still empty even while we were there they remained empty? The waitress that us wait wouldn’t even give us the menu to peruse until the half hour passed she was extremely unprofessional , she has in my opinion a heart of steel. The service was extremely poor the food is exorbitantly priced and extremely greasy, reminded me of the worst back street chippys. When the bill finally arrived it was just slapped down unto the table in a padded leather looking pouch by a male person without a smile or a pleasant interaction, and he then hurried away. Again another one with no manners or idea of customer care.I fail to see why anyone would think that this place merits any good rating, as I already said the staff are totally unprofessional, rude and unhelpful not forgetting the absolutely unprofessional service and customer care plus lacking manners too add insult to injury the food being exorbitantly priced. I would not even lower my self to recommend this so called restaurant to anyone. I certainly won’t go to returning there again. I advise everyone to avoid this place. 💯👎🏻😡🤮👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 The newly opened Portmor certainly did not disappoint. With sophisticated interiors, friendly staff and delicious food. The experience was like walking in off the street to a hidden secret. I wish Barbara and her staff all the success they deserve. Check out this gem. Had a really wonderful experience at the Port Mor this evening. We had a reservation and were immediately shown to our table. Throughout, the service was simply excellent. Despite being a group six, our meals all came at the same and were piping hot and within a very reasonable timeframe despite the restaurant being very busy. The portion sizes are extravagant and everyone's meal was delicious. At no did we feel rushed or neglected by the servers. A really positive experience at the PortMor. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Wow!! What an amazing experience from the decor, the atmosphere and the food. I had the goats cheese first ever “unreal” The fillet steak with the bone marrow ragu “Devine” 100% I recommend the portmor Came here for a family celebration. Most of our food was great except for the pizza which was the size of a small pancake and looked like a £1 pizza from Iceland. Tasted horrible too so was left untouched. This unfortunately dampened the rest of our dinner. I personally think pizza should not be on the menu if you consider that okay to charge that amount for something so poor that is 100% not up to restaurant quality. If you keep this on your menu I advise you to warn diners of the extremely small size and the fact it’s frozen not actually made in the restaurant. Unfortunately would have to say it’s put us off from returning.
