It's on an industrial estate with some out of town shopping. It's the third one along the road and all are well marked. There was no barrier. You find a pitch then go to the machine and follow the instructions. No need for reception. It's a large gravel car park with a toilet block in the middle. Hot water in the taps, 1€ for a hot shower. 22€ for a night (we got until 4pm the next day) . Ideal for travelling through. The restaurant / bar was open but we didn't use it. This was our first experience of a Wohnmobilplatz. It was expensive, considering it's just a carpark but it does have clean well maintained toilets. Carpark, toilets and Lidl across the road, what more could you ask. When you walk into town, choose the wooded route. It's the best introduction to the area. Visited mid September. Plenty of available places on arrival. Filled later in day. Good facilities and free bus pass. A nice camper parkup for campers only. No caravans allowed. You can usually check in automatically with the check in machine but it wasn't working but the office was open just before 7:00 p.m. and the lady was very friendly. Great showers, laundry room fill up and disposal points and a small restaurant and bar with friendly staff. Ideal location for exploring Neuschwanstein Castle so if you have bicycles it might be worth parking here for the night and cycling up to the castle which is 4 km away rather than paying €12 parking at the actual Castle. In October 2025 it was 24 Euros for 24 hours. So if you arrive at 5:00 p.m. you leave at 5:00 p.m. the next day. Good walking distance to the town and the lake, the town is lovely with plenty of restaurants etc and pretty streets. The stellplatz was reasonably priced and had clean toilets and showers (showers 1euro for 5mins), it was full and I think we got the last space so it did feel incredibly crowded and crammed in, driving around the stellplatz to find a space was very stressful with the amount of vehicles around. there were no issues with noise at all though and proximity to the town made it worthwhile, being next to Aldi and Lidl was handy as well. It was cloudy whilst we were there so there wasn't much of a view to see from the site, apparently it's lovely otherwise! Great Stelplatz. 10amp electric. Really hot water pot wash and showers Clinical clean and modern sanitation blocks. Showers paid for as add on. Awful and expensive. This campsite is just here to make money. You have to pay 17€ a night just for a spot with a beautiful view of you new neighbors ( forget the privacy it is inexistent here) Everything else is in option. 1 euro for a 5 min shower ( yes even the time you spend in the shower is counted). If you want to refill you tank or use the electricity you also have to pay. Even the WiFi is bad (not even capable to have a descent connexion for all customers). And above all, the manager is rude and not polite. Only if you don't have the choice. Good facilities and reasonable price especially compared with others nearby (17€ plus 2€ for electricity, would also cost €0.50 for 100l water, and 1€ for a 5min shower). Pretty packed, but it's a real honey pot and the height of summer so you can't expect anything else. Mostly automated, but there was someone there to help when we arrived at about 5pm. Would be better if the ticket machine took cards.
