Stopped here for a meal on 27/9/25 as we were staying in the hotel next door. For the price the food was good, the service and ambience were also good. It was busy and there were a fair few locals eating, so it may be worth prebooking if you plan on staying at the Ibis Budget next door (there is not much else around). Stayed at the Ibis next door and dined for two nights and had service and food. Third night we got a bad table next to the till and asked for another table and things went bad. Waiter would not take my drinks order manager had to step in food okay but no more service so only the one drink disappointing. Very meals, value for money. We was hesitant to eat here after reading some previous reviews but was left with little choice after a busy day. We prepared ourselves for an average meal but was pleasantly surprised, we both ordered steak and they was cooked perfectly. Staff were all very lovely. They grill the meat over an open grill in the restaurant area, we would be happy to return here anytime. Our first experience today 9/24. Food and service was very good. We are from USA and the food is far superior vs. USA. Didn’t expect too much after a 1 minute walk from the Ibis hotel next door. (couldn’t be bothered to drive and find somewhere else). However, lovely atmosphere, friendly waiters and really food - so much so went the following night too. The chicken & duck skewers were delicious and the Toulouse sausage extremely tasty. Choice of potato sides and veg (my ratatouille was lovely). Wine too, would recommend.
