Take your sweet time here to explore, it's absolutely worth it! Beautifully and carefully preserved and restored 15th century chateau, very kind owner, mellow and super friendly black hound on front lawn, overseeing picturesque tranquility of typical french countryside on upper floors. The young tour guide, I believe his name is Valentin, is deserved to get credit. He's informative, knowledgeable, knows how to trigger your curiosity, combining Greek and Roman mythologies, with crisp clear voice and various tones, superb at story telling! He would be WAY better than most of hosts on TV travel programs, period! Nicely restored interior has lots of stories and very educative as well. Unfortunately they only have printed English version of each section that the young guide would cover, with limited English, but fortunately for me I know just enough french to appreciate what he's saying, so the whole trip ends up extremely enjoyable, especially when we take turns go on top of the tour. Lively personal tour. Guide had limited English but there's a printed English version. It's an amazing place. A really enjoyable visit with a guided tour provided in both French and English. The hosts were very helpful. The tour lasted about 90 minutes and was only €8.00. Very interesting historical insight about the chateau. I would definitely recommend a visit. Beautiful. We ran out of time to see the inside. My daughter got to play with the friendly hound on the front lawn though. Thank you to the current owners for allowing us to view your beautiful property. A lovely old chateau, Tapestries were very nice and so was the history We were looking forward visiting the castle today. Upon arrival we were told to follow a man who looked like the guide or owner of the place. This man showed a totally obnoxious behaviour towards our family (in front of the kids). I have rarely seen such a rude person in my life, so we left without visiting in the end. Don’t go here if you are a foreigner and/or have kids. Never received such a rude “welcome”. Guide wanted us to leave, extremely unpleasant. Too bad because the chateau seems beautiful. Excellent guided visit. The best castle we have visited in the area with a very reasonable price Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
