Amazing nature Amazing park. We did the whole route to Cabo de Caballo and back 28.9 km. Amazing. Very beautiful views. Different hikes possible from ‘flat’ to steep. Pictures from the 8.5K hike with 700HM Magnificent park. All levels of hiking and climbing. Concession area for coffee and snacks. Good morning sir please find the attached file for the right side of the right side of the right side of the right side of the right side of the right Spectacular national park highlighting one of Europe's biggest and most scenic canyons. The parking area fills up fast, so arrive early. Many trails start here, the most popular of which is the Cola de Caballo trail which runs along the Azaras river and traverses a pretty beech forest as well as several waterfalls. You can walk on both sides of the river; the trails merging just below Cascada de Arripas. The other waterfalls along the way are Cascada de la Cueva, Cascada del Estrecho, Gradas de Soaso and of course Cola de Caballo. Of these the C. del Estrecho which tumbles down a slot canyon and the multi-tiered G. de Soaso are the most spectacular for me. The trail is very well graded, wide and smooth. It winds its way through a cool, stately beech forest before ascending and opening up into a broad mountain meadow with towering ridges on both sides. Some parts are continuously steep but main challenge is the length, 16km out and back. Amazing national park which hosts Europe's highest limestone massif aswell as its most impressive canyons. The are numerous hiking possibilities, some highlights being the Monte Perdido, the Añisclo canyon and the aerial Faja de las Flores hiking path. Nature at its best. A thorough exploration of this area requires one or more stays at the Goriz refuge, but camping is an option too.
