On the walk down to the parking lot there's a nice bistro where the ice cream is tasty and the coffee delicious. Great to visit, on top of hill ... the view from there is great, seeing all surrounding areas... the most wonderful part is the old stone tower, how it is built on top of a large Stone, and it is huge, and very ancient ... the store inside the is a good place to buy a souviner that is produced in the region, drinks, tee ...etc... can be a great gift that is only sold there. Cool! Historic spot, worth a visit. Even has a small area where kids can play and act out scenes of daily life from olden days! For the kids-centric areas alone, highly recommenced! Truly a “Family Castle” visit as how they promote this 👍🏻 you can definitely spend half/whole day here (they do not have any F&B offering except a stand with take away; small offering of sausages/Glühwein) Definitely recommend and we would also like to come again 😊🤘🏻 • Before you reach the entrance on the left you already come to a kid’s craft area/room where you can buy some retail items for the kids to get their hands dirty with decorating their own “shield/swords” and other collectible items • WC is available • just scan ur ticket to get to places 👍🏻 even the watch tower (or u can go up the watch tower at 1€, coin only) • the area around and outside the is great for picnics n sit around with direct sun • the Knight exhibition is until Feb2022 Great place for kids, lots of things for them to see.
