Bath, United Kingdom Pub

One of the Best Places To Visits in Chapmanslade Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very pleasant pub with plenty of seating and a mezzanine seating area also. outside with tables and chai rs, overlooking an attractive country view. Food at a reasonable price and lunchtime menu at an affordable cost. Fantastic pub. We found it welcoming, especially as we were "Tourists" and the menu had a choice of food. Loved the homemade pie! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. There were quite a few gluten free choices on the menu (including crumble of the day!). The burgers were really as were the specials, but we were too full to try the crumble so we'll have to come back. We went on a Saturday lunchtime and the pub was quite quiet. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick for food and drink. The food was very good, we had 4 different dishes, all arrived at the same time and were hot. The quality of the food was also excellent with a decent selection of off menu specials. It's a shame we don't live more locally or we'd definitely be back more often. Thanks for the excellent experience. Everything about our experience was 5 stars! We arrived slightly earlier and were given a larger table which was better for chatting around, other than food this was the reason for 4 of us to to out for dinner! The burgers were outstanding! The pie of the day, chicken and spicy chorizo, was laden as you cut into it. The pork belly with black pudding polenta and lobster bisque was treeee....mendous! ...and the rosemary and garlic fries were something else..... Mouth watering just writing this! The deserts were more than ample and a taste explosion. The waiter, 'Will' was brilliant. He was so attentive without being overbearing as some places can be. He knew the food to explain exactly with you'd receive and was spot on discussing the deserts. We watched him with other guest, he worked the floor with natural charm as ease. He needs to commended for the way he represented The Three Horse Shoes. The pub only takes card payments, so if you want to tip, take cash. There is a 10% service charge added to your bill so that may suffice for some of you. Can't wait to return. A beautiful pub with amazing views, delicious food, comfortable seating and travel ambience. I had the lunch special, so worth the money and delicious! The ham was soft, juicy, tasty and plenty of it. The brownie is more like chocolate cake, but tasty none the less. There are so many interesting decorations in the pub. We sat inside, which was very comfortable, but in a day you can sit outside and watch the amazing view. They even provide water for your pups! ❤️ Wow, such a lovely place, food and service wonderful. Gorgeous fireplace with open fire and comfy sofas and pretty with all the lights and fantastic views. Big shout out to Claudia and Ben who were amazing and were so friendly and are an absolute asset to the pub. Well done! I took my wife and grandson for Sunday dinner. The food was a delight and the service was very good. This pub was nice and clean with a light cherry atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend. Nice pub, lovely views from the beer garden. dinners are excellent - proper spuds and they make an effort to jazz up the vegetables. Welcoming pub with a lovely garden. We stopped by with dogs on a walk and had a very pleasant drink in a beautiful under a large willow tree. Can't rate the food because we didn't eat but it smelled good.... Next time! Me and my family went here for lunch recently, it was an added bonus that they had a lunchtime offer on which was very reasonable. The quality of the food was super with some great options on the specials menu. Also a selection of draft beer/ cider and an open fire. The lady who serves us was also very welcoming and happy/ jovial with our young kids which is always great (parenting isn’t always easy, esp when people are hungry! :) .. we will definitely be going back, this time for an evening meal :) Our party of four enjoyed a delicious early evening meal. The food was excellent and well presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub itself was lovely with a huge area for when the weather is warmer. Happy to recommend! Booking worked well. Staff very quick and attentive. We had Sunday lunch and enjoyed the tender beef. A pint of Butcombe. All reasonable price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an exceptional Sunday at The Three Horseshoes in Chapmanslade. The pork and lamb were truly outstanding, cooked to perfection. Each bite was a delight, with flavours that were both rich and comforting. A huge compliment to James, the head chef, for the remarkable culinary experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, adding to a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch Sunday roast! Lovely dinner on a Saturday night. Other guests had stolen the chairs from my reserved table but the servers found chairs for our party quickly. They were nice and really accommodating. We were sat under the speaker which meant the music was a little loud but it was nothing major. Lovely pub in a small village, and with excellent food. Visited on an early Sunday evening with my husband and outlaws for Sunday as we were staying at Center Parcs nearby. The food was really good, fully loaded plate of beef with all the trimmings, followed by affogato for dessert (my fav). The poor chap serving us was run off his feet due to staff shortages, but did a very job of looking after us, and remaining smiley throughout! I have taken my review down but do not withdraw my comment You show a picture of a pie with side veg and a separate jug of gravy Why May I ask was my plate swimming in gravy turning everting into mush The Childs meal which I paid for was also poor The manageress did have attitude bringing it to the attention of other diners. There was never going to be any confrontation we quietly complained about the meal making sure the others diners were unaware I Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
