I had to wait because my lunch was served on ordinary bread instead of gluten free as requested. My companions had almost finished by the time mine came. It was quite noisy and I think the waitress struggled to hear. Really nice place on the top of the hill, over the hill and easy to get to. Coffee was really nice and the food was great. Service was a little slow, but they were busy and very friendly. Off the A46 is a decent cafe with fabulous food and breathtaking views. The A46 is a fast moving road so give plenty of notice when turning in. Be prepared to wait for a gap in the traffic. Driven past here plenty of times but I've never able to stop until now. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and the breakfast/brunch menu with modern interpretations to tasty classics. To cap it all they are dog friendly. 4 people, 2 dogs and a gluten allergy - all perfectly catered for! The food was fantastic, selection - the Eggy Bee was especially delicious and the coffee was lovely. and service were great. The were incredible and it had been renovated beautifully. We went for a walk with the dogs after, you join a public footpath from a gate in the garden which joined the Cotswold way. Highly recommend. Have been here 3 times now - each time the service has been perfect, coffee and high quality / tasty food. On a sunny day, the are brilliant. Lovely spot and the new owners have done a job with this place. Came here and got the vegetarian breakfast. It was very nice and value for money. The were very kind and welcoming. There is parking outside but it is very close to the main road so took a while to get out, I’d recommend to reverse into your space beforehand as I didn’t and it was so hard pulling out into the road. On our way to Wales, we stopped here to take a break and have some coffee. The view of the backyard was amazing, and I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you find yourself in the area. Unfortunately, we didn't try any of the food, so I can't comment on that, but the were very friendly, polite, and respectful. place with a fantastic view. Took my 90 yr old parents here for mid-day. The could not have been more sensitive in helping me navigate my dad in his wheelchair to a suitable table. The food was excellent, especially the chorizo hash. The burger and fries were great, came hot and fast. Super clean and stylish decor. Spent about 20 with a drink. Worth the stop, thanks! Stopped on way past for breakfast & wow what a lovely surprise. Fantastic choice of food and really lovely food & staff. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. 2 full English, one veggie breakfast and a sausage & egg muffin. We all loved our choices. The ingredients were all top quality, the food was delicious - we had smash burgers and the children had bacon sandwiches. The chips were truly delicious and the coffee was excellent too. The view is beautiful. The were attentive and helpful. The wait was a little long but it was a very busy Sunday and the kitchen is small but it was absolutely worth the small wait.
